Hilton Daytona Beach Serves Up
Oceanfront Delights

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Year 2008) – Whether enjoying a quiet meal overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, sipping Mimosas during a Sunday brunch, or snacking poolside, guests at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort have several options for dining in style. The only property in Daytona Beach to offer eight dining locales under one roof, guests enjoy flavorful Florida cuisine at two exceptional restaurants, plus the racing-themed Legends Sports Bar, the elegant Clocktower Lounge, Atlantic Gourmet Coffee & Marketplace, the Seaside Food Pavilion and two oceanfront hot spots – Waves Beach Bar and The Pelican Bar. Leading the Hilton Daytona Beach culinary team, Executive Chef Eddie Sears oversees a staff of 15 and is responsible for all in-house culinary operations, on-site catering for meetings and special events, and Doc Bales Grill.

The Resort’s dining staple, Doc Bales’ Grill, overlooks Daytona Beach’s historic Clocktower and offers guests elegant indoor or outdoor dining on the oceanfront terrace.
Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, Doc Bales’ specializes in fresh seafood and continental specialties. An evening weekend dinner buffet rounds out the menu and offers seasonal favorites including King Crab legs and succulent peel-‘n-eat-shrimp.

Opened in November 2007, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse hit the beach offering high-quality, aged USDA prime steaks for which its reputation was built. Hyde Park serves variations of classic steak dishes like the New York Strip and Petite Filets while adding a touch of local flavor. As custom, the chef-driven menu features “celebrity” steak dishes, created and named for revered area sports legends, past and present. Hyde Park also knows how to please the palates of non-meat eaters, and features a complete menu of exotic fresh fish and premium seafood flown in from coasts across the globe. The chef-driven menu extends to The Bar at Hyde Park and offers an innovative small plate menu, accompanied by 100 wines by-the-glass and a unique martini list. The beachfront Hyde Park represents the steakhouse of the next generation, presenting a modern décor and outdoor dining offering breath-taking views of the ocean and access to the beach.

Recognizing the Daytona Beach area’s racing heritage, Legends Sports Bar is home to racing memorabilia as well as one of NASCAR’S race cars. Guests can kick back and relax in this neighborhood-style bar and enjoy their favorite sporting events from the many plasma televisions. A varied menu offers sandwiches, salads, appetizers and several beers on tap.

For a more intimate atmosphere or the ideal meeting location, visitors enjoy the Clocktower Lounge, the piano bar overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. An extensive wine list is paired with light fare to delight the palate.

For guests on-the-go, the Atlantic Gourmet Coffee & Marketplace is the perfect place to grab a cup ‘o Joe, fresh pastries, andwiches and other deli items.

Open seasonally, the Seaside Pool Pavilion is popular with younger guests. This beachfront food court offers burgers, pizza, salads and deli foods. Adjacent to the Pavilion, Waves Beach Bar is ideally located just steps from the beach and the many sandy activities including beach volleyball. Offering live entertainment on the weekends, The Pelican Bar, features an expansive deck and serves grilled specialties, cocktails and signature drinks.
